Our third annual Australia Day Barney’s Camping Weekend will be happening from Thurs 24th-Mon 28th January, 2019. Barney’s family and friends are all invited to come along to this beautiful campsite near Targa, less than 30 mins from Barney’s.
The site is an open, grassy camping area, on the banks of the St Patrick’s river and has an undercover picnic area, barbecues and a small kiosk. There are showers and toilets as well as great bush walks, swimming, kayaking and fishing spots nearby :) We have already booked space for plenty of people to camp, (BYO everything!) and you are welcome to come for the whole time, or any portion of it. There will be lots of opportunity to play games, hang out, swim, eat food and generally be family together. We are also hoping to repeat our Australia Day bush dance right on the campsite! If you are planning on joining us overnight, the cost is $7.50 per adult per night, and kids camp for free!
If you are planning on coming along, please let us know either through our facebook event here or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can make sure you have all the information you need.
If you would really like to come and camp, but don’t have access to a tent, Barney’s may be able to help you. Speak to or email Liz Goodacre before the end of December for more information. You can see directions to Myrtle Park here. It'll be an awesome weekend and we hope to see you there!
